optional Add-ons
One hour coverage for a Maternity, Family or Newborn is usually a generous amount of time.
However if you are considering an outfit change, editorial style shoot, multiple locations in mind or a large extended family shoot some extra hours are suggested.
Additional Hour of Coverage, $400/hr
Travel 1 hour radious outside mandurah is $100/$150

FAQ
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yep, I travel! Honestly, I love it. Whether it's your family farm, a country town, your home or somewhere that's special to you, I'm always up for the adventure.
For sessions outside the Mandurah region, I usually charge a flat $150 travel fee—unless I'm already heading your way, then I'll often waive it. Just let me know where you're thinking, and I'll let you know what that looks like.
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Social media absolutely. However use for commercial use such as marketing will need to be discussed.
How do we choose a location?
If you have a preference I always like to hear. And I keep my eyes peeled on my scouting days. We usually lock in a week prior and check how the wind and weather is looking.
What if my kids are absolute chaos?
Honestly? That's kind of what I'm expecting.
I've photographed enough families to know that kids have absolutely no interest in sticking to my plans. So instead... I don't really have one.
We follow their energy. If they want to explore, we explore. If they want cuddles, we lean into that. If they need a snack break, we take one. I spend the session reading the room rather than trying to control it.
Somewhere along the way, when the timing feels right, I'll steal a quick "everyone together" photo. Then it's back to letting your family be exactly that... your family. Those are always the photos people end up loving most.
What happens if the weather is terrible?
Depending on the time of year we can look at a reschedule. Otherwise we look at an indoor shoot at home or a studio location. I can work a studio flash and a natural light studio also. Sometimes if the weather is 50/50 we can choose a location with indoor and outdoor spots close-by so when the rain is light we can jump out and shoot.
When is the best time for maternity photos?
I like the 7/8 month mark, but this is always your call. If you have booked and feeling ready for photos earlier I can try squeeze you in earlier. I think 7 is always a tad safer also.
Can grandparents or dogs come?
YES AND YES. Wee just have to be cautious to go to a dog friendly location and make sure baiting is not in the areas as the use of 1080 is around in WA
Do you photoshop people?
I include light retouching on skin and imperfections. If you woke up with a blackhead, dont even mention it, its gone. But if you have any personal concerns please reach out prior to the shoot and we can work with that also. No problems.
Should I print my photos or just keep them on my phone?
Keep them on your phone in between recipe screenshots....NOT...
PRINT YOUR PICTURES. Future you will love you for this.
I do have a printing store attached to my galleries but otherwise there are fantastic printers such as the Fred Snow
Do I really have to wear linen?
I love some style. I love simplicity. If you need styling advice I am here. I always suggest rather than match you compliment or just rock the whatever makes you feel you theme. We are all different so out photos should be too
How do I prepare my kids before the shoot?
Always chat to them that its just an hour. You know what works for you children. Bribery? Totally up to you.
If your kids have interested let me know before the shoot this can sometimes help too.
How many photos will I recieve?
Anywhere from 50/60 edited images. Ill be real I'm an over shooter and I try and try to six this but I cant help it. So likely to be more like 100.
When do I recieve my photos?
Between 2/4 weeks post shoot.
Any delays you are the first to know.
Sickness / illness or change of circumstances
Your shoot is non refundable. However if disaster strikes reach out and we can absolutely look to reschedule.
If you do not reach out within 3 months and there are any price changes you will need to cover the difference.
And of course if I am to fall ill we simply reschedule to a date to suit us both.

STEP 02
Book in
Sign contract (ew I know but Business stuff) and pay your session to lock your session in.
STEP 03
touch base + check in
While my whole feel to a portrait shoot is very relaxed and calm, my systems are anything so you can expect a few questionnaires and confirmations closer to your booking to make sure nothing is missed. I keep my eye on the weather + wind from about a week prior to the shoot and touch base if needed. Please feel free to reach out if you need some styling advise or would like to see what I have in my client wardrobe. I have items for newborn, ladies and Maternity.
STEP 04
the shoot
I always recommend mapping the time in advance at the time you plan to travel for the shoot. Arrive ten mins early to settle in and say a decent hello to each other.
I will guide everyone through the shoot so relax and enjoy.
Between 2-4 weeks prior you will receive your private online gallery with anywhere from 50 edited images. You can also choose to print via your online gallery or create an album. You can download these an unlimited amount of time and share easily

Remember to try include some information on you / your family and let me know what days work for you such as a Tuesday or Saturday etc. Please feel free to include any links or location suggestions. If I am in the area there is no travel fees. I also don't have travel fees Mandurah to Margaret River for portrait shoots as I am in the Down south region often.
