The most ideal way to get photos in a more casual just you two way. In your just me clothes. This is a great insight for me before the day. How we all flow together and what works and what is flattering etc

These shoots go for an hour and we can discuss a location of your choice. It is a great way to make the most of a hair and or MUA trial also. Or bring your fur baby if they are not allowed at your wedding venue.

The process

ONE : Initial Contact

Reach out and tell me some information about you + your day

TWO: Lets Meet/ Create Draft Schedule

Usually we do this on the phone + if you are local we can meet in person. One of the first things we cover is scheduling.

THREE: Secure Booking

After we do a mock schedule we go over what times will work roughly. Then we sign the contract + pay the deposit.

FOUR: Send Questionnaire

About 6 months out I will send you a questionnaire. Just to cover any updated information and keep it in an easy to access program.

FIVE: I'm just an email away

I love the trust of creative freedom. In saying this I'm a sucker for a pintrest board and hearing all your plans for the day. If you need to bounce a colour palette or idea and your wedding parties ears are raw from listening, feel free to shoot me an email.

SIX: Payments

Payments are split over four payments. Come the month of your wedding I want to be chatting all things wedding + not the money side.

1/4 is Deposit to secure your booking

1/4 Due 6 months prior to wedding

1/4 due 3 months prior to wedding

1/4 due 1 months prior to wedding

If your wedding/elopement is within 6 months we do a 50% upfront and 50% month of your date. All payments are non refundable but transferable.

SEVEN: Check in

I like to do a check in the week of your wedding & note any up to date changes such as weather or schedule. Also a good time for me to chat locations with you both.

EIGHT: Your Day

Enjoy every damn minute!

NINE: Sneak Peak

Within a week of your wedding, you will receive some highlights of the day

TEN: View Online Gallery

Sip a glass of red and relive the day. Usually 8-10 weeks prior. But please note this can be more towards 10 - 12 weeks in peak seasons or seasons where I would need to do extra editing such as flies.

ELEVEN: Order Prints / Albums

If you have decided to print your photos and give them true life, together we will design your album from start to finish. There is a print shop connected to your gallery which you can order high quality prints direct to your door. And support me even more.

TWELVE: Share the love

Share your gallery with your friends and family. I love to share but for the future and sustainability of the photography industry any commercial inquiries please send to me. And if you could share the love and create a review either privately on email or google this is the best compliment and means the world to my growth.

FAQ

How do I choose a Wedding Photographer?

There are a few important things to consider. The first is to determine your style and think about what you’re looking for in your photographer. It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer on your wedding day and that they’re honest and transparent with you about what can and can’t be done. You have to love their style of photos and have trust in

their direction and choices. We produce our best work when we are trusted to do our thing!

I shoot about 90% documentary style on the day as I want to the photos to reflect you and the special moments. It is my job to find the nice lighting and framing so there will be some directing/prompting when needed but besides that I make it comfortable and fun, which I think is really reflected in my work. I will give you tips throughout the day to help you get the

most out of your photography package, and also the day in the general as it flies by. My priority is that you enjoy your day with your family and friends and I capture every moment I can. And if you’re feeling any kind of ‘we are not photo people’ kinda thoughts don’t let that worry you for a moment, I got you!

How long does it take to get our photos?

It will take 6-8 weeks to receive your wedding photos. 8-10 weeks in the busier seasons.

Will we require a second shooter?

If your wedding is under 30 guests that having two photographers may be overkill. It is always great to have another photographers help/perpective on the day as we just cannot be ever y where at once. This is also great if you are wanting coverage of both partners getting ready but are far apart. I book my second shooters a few months out from the wedding. If disaster strikes I already have someone lined up who can take over for me if required. I see them as insurance. It also means we can cover more ground quickly especially if we get wet weather or the day runs behind on time and are limited with portrait session time

How many photos will I recieve?

I don’t put a limit on the number of photos that I give to my clients, and will always try and give you the maximum amount of great images from the day. This often varies depending on the type and style of your wedding and the shooting period in your package. Feel free to ask me more about this and I can explain the process I follow when shooting.

Will I receive good quality images?

Of course! I want to make sure that you’re able to print any of your photos to a high quality. They will all be hi-res JPEG ready to print

Do you travel

HAVE LOVE? WILL TRAVEL

..Thats a big yes I absolutely loooveee to travel and it can be arranged very easily! Just let me know the details and we can discuss further. I travel all about Western Australia and shoot about 90% of my weddings in the South-West Margaret River region.

Do you take family photos on the day?

Definitely. I think it’s essential at any wedding to get some great images with your family on the day to look back on in the future. It helps everyone to feel included in your special day and means that no one is missed out – it only takes around half an hour or so, but it is always worth it. I’d generally suggest providing a list ahead of time to ensure no one is forgotten in the excitement of the day.

What is the best time for wedding party and couple portraits?

Most images you’ll see in my portfolio are in the evening at around sunset, at a time known as ‘Golden Hour’. I can make the most of any available light source, but from years of experience I find couples love the photos taken at this time the most. I help with scheduling in our initial phone chat to help you work out the best way to get the most of the day & not leave your guests for too long and still be able to shoot at this light. Summer can be tricky as sunset is late but there are ways around this we can discuss. Aside from being a wedding photographer – I was also an events planner & wedding co-ordinator at a wedding venue my family owned since I was 16. So my scheduling approach is all rounded thinking of all aspects of the day not just photos. A lot of venues and vendors have a very copy and paste schedule which does not take into consideration things like if you are getting a good enough time actually enjoying your day or the right time of day for your portraits.

Who will be photographing our wedding?

If you book with Ayzia Jade Photography, you can be sure I’ll be the one taking photos at your wedding. I don’t subcontract out your wedding to other photographers unless of sickness. Western Australia has the strongest network of photographers- so if cover is ever needed I have the worlds biggest list to cover me if disaster should strike. We call this an associate shooter & I choose a photographer with a great demeanour and also similar shooting style. Then I edit to my editing style.

Second Shooters – I have a range of second shooters who I work with. So it will be myself and my second shooter epending on if you booked a package with one.

Can I see a full wedding gallery?

For privacy reasons I choose not to share full galleries – but a good stalk of my instagram, website + blog will give you a decent insight into my style! View my blog here.

What experience/Qualifications do you have?

I don’t believe there is any substitute for experience like the experience I have received in shooting weddings for 16 plus years. This prepares you for moments and being able to work with anything that arrises on your day. I do have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Majoring in Photography. I do like to take one to two courses a year so that I am always growing and learning new tricks with the camera & taking on challenges.

We feel you are the right person to capture our day, how do we book?

You guys are awesome! The best way is to confirm I’m available that day by using the request info form or my email on my website. I’ll do my best to respond within 24 hours. Please try to include some info for me, i.e. your wedding style and a bit about you both. From there, we’ll lock in the date with a deposit and contract. To try and take the pressure off your wallet, all weddings are placed on a payment plan of four instalments. Prices begin at $3800.00 with smaller elopement packages + micro weddings also available.

Do you shoot film?

I do.

This is an add on. Due to the nature of film. It is nostalgic and not always perfect. I use 3 rolls usually. Mix of ambient and flash. If there was any errors from the film you would be entitled to a refund of the film extras.

What if disaster strikes?

I have been really fortunate over the years to not have this occur, but we are all humanand emergencies can arise. If it did, I have contacts all over the world that will be able to step in. Our WA and even Australian network is immense and bursting with talent and flavour! This is also a reason I include second shooters in my packages. They are both mine and your insurance. If there was an issue on the morning we know there is already someone who will be there. These are extreme and unlikely circumstances. But I like to air on the side of caution.

Do you have any vendors you recommend?

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

What if I have to cancel or move booking?

Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit and all payments made are non refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other booking for your wedding date. I hope you understand that deposit and payments mafe are insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation. I am happy to work together to find a new date and we simply transfer the funds to the new date. If we cannot find a new date then I will send an associate to work on my behalf and edit the images.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, I split your payments into four installments. The first is your deposit, second due 6 months prior, third due 3 months prior and final due 1 month prior.

Where are you based?

I am based in Falcon, South of Mandurah. But I travel ever y where. Included in my fee covers any where within 2-3hours radius. My specialtyis the SW region as I have spent many years living, working and exploring here.
