Welcome friend, i am ayzia (asia),
the one behind the lens.

I’m Ayzia – a.k.a. fantayzia, ayz, beyoncayzia, crayzia, layzia, the list goes on. I’m a personable, chatty, energetic and a pretty positive human that very much loves and takes a lot of pride in her job. I have boxes and books filled of my own photographs at home that I’m constantly pulling out to show people or reminisce upon. It’s the sense of place and time that photos can convey that really does it for me. I studied a Bachelor of Photography after high school and have now been in the photography biz for 20 years, and I could not image doing anything else.

I have tried but being a photographer just fits.

Photography came to me when I was a little kid. I was mesmerized by my grandparents wedding album growing up, always pulling it out whenever we went to visit. I was captivated by the people and the places in the photos and loved the way my grandparents would swoon when they were reminded of that time.

I am addicted to growing my skills and love the constant challenge photography brings me. I love all forms, styles and genres, I am genuinely obsessed.  I've spent nearly two decades behind a camera, but I'm still learning. I love pushing myself creatively, whether that's experimenting with film, directing editorial-style shoots, mentoring photographers or finding better ways to serve the people who trust me with their memories.

When I’m not on the tools, I am honestly likely to be dancing in with my daughters favorite song, David Bowies "Starman" and being dorks together. I am also likely to be exercising my love for the outdoors with my partner, Daughter Dru and our two dogs, Taj and Foster, wake boarding, playing Netball- I'm the shortest GA in the state I reckon, skate boarding or traveling whenever we get the chance. I love a good dance, a deep belly laugh and my love language is when people make me playlists of music
