Beth and Mitch rocked up to their engagement session in Falcon with the biggest smiles, great style, and the kind of connection you can't fake. No awkward posing. No overthinking. Just two people who genuinely love being around each other—and honestly, that's always the good stuff.
We kicked things off around one of Falcon's iconic beach shacks before wandering down to the local beach as the sun started doing its thing. It's one of my favourite spots to photograph couples around Mandurah because it has so much personality. Weathered timber, sandy tracks, salty air and that relaxed coastal feel that never goes out of style.
One of the things I love most about engagement sessions is that there's nowhere to be and nothing to organise. No timeline. No guests waiting. Just an hour or so to hang out, have a laugh, wander the coastline and create photos that actually feel like you.
Beth and Mitch absolutely nailed that. They brought the fun, but they also weren't afraid to slow down for the quieter moments. Those little glances, the laughs that happen halfway through a sentence, the way they naturally gravitated towards each other—it all made this session feel effortless.
As a Perth and Mandurah engagement photographer, I'm always chasing locations that feel genuine rather than overly polished. Falcon has been home for a long time, so getting to photograph couples in places that locals know and love always feels a little extra special.
