A Very Big Party at Solitaire Homestead, Yallingup Where do I even start with this one.

Two insanely talented photographers getting married at Solitaire Homestead in Yallingup, an afternoon of rain that did absolutely nothing to dampen things, a Cadillac, a whole lot of emotion and a dance floor that genuinely required recovery time. This wedding had everything I love about photographing weddings. Beautiful details and plenty of style, yes — but underneath all of that, it was just full of feeling. Big laughs, tears, people completely losing it on the dance floor and those tiny in-between moments happening everywhere you looked. Even when the afternoon rain rolled through, we ran with it. These two hired a Cadillac, piled in and we made our way around the Yallingup countryside for portraits before heading back to Solitaire Homestead and getting down to the very serious business of partying. And PARTY they did. The dance floor went all night and somewhere along the way I apparently forgot I was there to work and not compete in a dance marathon. Still recovering. Weddings like this are exactly why I love photographing Yallingup and Margaret River weddings. Incredible locations help, but it’s the people, personality, emotion and slightly unhinged dance floors that make a gallery what it is.

Rain, Cadillac, tears, questionable dance moves and two photographers trusting another photographer to capture it all. No pressure.
