Sally & Ryan's Intimate Solitaire Homestead Wedding

Yallingup Wedding Photographer

Some weddings are all about the big production. Others strip everything back to what actually matters.

Sally and Ryan's March wedding at Solitaire Homestead in Yallingup was exactly that. Just their favourite people, a beautiful setting, and a whole lot of intention. The ceremony took place outdoors beneath the festoon lights, creating one of those effortlessly beautiful spaces that didn't need much more than the people standing in it.

March is one of my favourite times to photograph weddings in the Margaret River region. The weather is usually kind, the light hangs around just a little longer, and venues like Solitaire Homestead come alive with that warm South West atmosphere.

One of the things I loved most about this day was how relaxed it felt. There wasn't a packed timeline or pressure to rush from one thing to the next. Everyone had time to chat, laugh, soak it all in and simply enjoy being together. That's often the magic of a smaller wedding—it gives you room to actually experience your day.

Solitaire Homestead is such a stunning wedding venue for couples wanting something intimate while still feeling incredibly special. Surrounded by bushland and only a short drive from both Yallingup and Margaret River, it offers beautiful ceremony locations, gorgeous accommodation and endless spots for portraits without ever needing to leave the property.
