Hillside Maternity Session | Maternity Photography Mandurah
A hillside, a growing belly and a whole lot of space to play with.
This maternity session took place on a private property tucked into the hills — open landscape, long grass, big skies and the kind of backdrop that does most of the work for you.
We kept the shoot relaxed and let the landscape lead the way. Wandering through the property, stopping when the light looked good and creating a mix of quiet, intimate moments and stronger editorial portraits.
That’s what I love about maternity photography. It doesn’t have to fit one particular mould. It can be soft without being overly sweet, stylish without feeling staged, and still completely about this pretty wild chapter of life.
Private properties like this are especially magic for maternity photos. There’s no audience, no rushing and plenty of room to move, experiment and make something that feels a little more personal.
Just good light, an incredible hillside and a moment in time worth remembering.
