Lamonts Bishop House, March 2026

An Ode to Vivienne Westwood | A Stylish Perth Wedding at Lamont's Bishop House

This wedding at Lamont's Bishop House in Perth was one of those. Stylish without trying too hard, thoughtful without feeling over-styled, and packed with the kind of energy that reminds you the best weddings are the ones where everyone simply has a bloody good time.

And then there was the dress.

The bride wore Vivienne Westwood—a designer whose work has always celebrated individuality over convention. Sculptural silhouettes, impeccable tailoring and an unapologetic confidence. It felt like the perfect choice for the day. Not because it was designer, but because it reflected exactly who she was.

A quiet little ode to Vivienne Westwood, if you will.

The rest of the day followed suit. Every detail felt intentional, every space was filled with people genuinely enjoying themselves, and by the time the formalities wrapped up, the dance floor had completely taken on a life of its own. The kind of wedding where jackets disappeared, shoes came off and no one needed much convincing to stay for "just one more song."

As a Perth wedding photographer, these are the weddings I love documenting. The ones where style and substance exist together. Where fashion has a place, but people always come first. Where the atmosphere is just as memorable as the flowers or the table settings.

Lamont's Bishop House is one of Perth's most beautiful wedding venues for couples wanting an intimate celebration with plenty of character. Nestled amongst the gardens in the city, it offers timeless architecture, beautiful natural light and endless opportunities for editorial-inspired wedding photography while still feeling warm and welcoming.
